Fascia webinars with Ellen Grösser
What is there to the fascia hype of the last few years? What can we as craniosacral therapists learn for ourselves from the recent research? How do we as craniosacral therapists influence the fascial system? To what extent does the fascial matrix have a key function in the chronic disease process? Where are there important fasciae? What influence does mental, emotional and mechanical stress have on the tissue? Why do we need good self-awareness? These questions will be answered in the following fascia webinar series.
Fascia Webinar 1 provides an overview of the structures, localization and functions of fascia, the components of fascia tissue, and its pathology. In particular, we look at the intricately structured fascia superficialis and meditate with this structure. There is a first practical presentation on the treatment of fascia.
Fascia Webinar 2 presents the connections of fascia to other systems in the body, especially the nervous system end. Neurovascular constrictions in the body and their pathomechanism are presented, and fascial treatment of the inguinal canal is introduced, as well as a fascial chain that includes both visceral and musculoskeletal structures. Furthermore, we get to know the fascial system in its function as a sensory organ and look at the connection fascia – trauma.
